She left the field to become a Safety Instructor, she loved being in the classroom, meeting Tradeswomen and men, hearing their stories, discussing their safety concerns and teaching them how to remain safe on the job in all situations. Getting back to the field was her goal, she loved the boots to the ground and interacting with the workers. In 2020 she made the move from Instructing to the Business side of Safety, getting the opportunity to work back in the field as well as office administration, interacting with clients and helping companies with all aspects of their safety. Jody decided to venture out on her own and opened LRP Safety Professionals in July 2025. She is thankful to her clients and team members who have followed her to LRP Safety Professionals. When deciding on what her business would provide, she knew that bringing COVERGALLS into her business was a need in Sarnia for the many women in the field. She is proud to support the Working for Workers Six Act (BILL 229).
